Today (20 February 2025), the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) announced that the MRTA and Eastern Bangkok Monorail Company Limited (EBM), the concessionaire, went to inspect and survey the electric train track pillars and found that the cause was the improper finishing of the surface at the joints of the poured concrete, not a crack in the track structure pillars.
